DESIGN SYSTEM

Since 2017, Kristina has worked on design systems, contributing to, redefining, and building several systems from the ground up across the organizations she has partnered with.

Her understanding of design systems is holistic, encompassing not only product components but also brand, content, and marketing assets and guidelines.

She collaborates closely with front-end engineers, marketing and brand specialists, and content writers to create a single, unified hub—ensuring a cohesive experience across the company, its events, services, and products.

2022–2024: During the startup’s hyper-growth phase—from 20 to 90 employees—Kristina, as the first design hire and design manager, built the design system from the ground up.

She developed an component library (Storybook and Figma), extensive content style guide and marketing templates, supported the scaling of the marketing team (1→6), PM team (1→3), and design team (1→5).

In 2023, she led a comprehensive rebranding of the company, its events, and its products, leveraging the efficiency of a well-established design system.
